Bright Star, Inspired by a True Story

What if a long-lost piece of your past came back to change everything? Set in the Blue Ridge Mountains and inspired by a true event, Bright Star follows a literary editor whose past resurfaces in a tale of love, loss, and redemption. With a sweeping bluegrass-inspired score by Steve Martin (comic, musician, actor, writer) and Edie Brickell (New Bohemians), this heartwarming musical blends humor, heartbreak, and healing. It’s a moving reminder that the brightest stars often rise from the darkest skies.

A preshow talk is offered in the West Lobby 30 minutes prior to curtain.
