Synopsis:
Author: Jeremy Karken, David Murrell & Gordon Farrell
Roles Available
Age Range: 20-35
Description: A young, mid-20s Harvard graduate. Extremely thorough, tenacious, anxious, and idealistic. He believes facts are non-negotiable and essential to maintaining trust. He goes a step too far in his pursuit of accuracy, often becoming a “nag” by questioning minor details to the point of annoyance.
Age Range: 35 and up
Description: A seasoned 40+ female editor-in-chief of a high-profile magazine. A master of efficiency and multitasking, she is under immense pressure to deliver. Acts as a bridge between the two, striving for both high-level storytelling and professional journalistic standards.
Age Range: 30-60
Description: A renowned author and essayist in his 30s-50s. Aromatic, sarcastic, arrogant, and highly intelligent. He values “truth” and “beauty” over literal accuracy. Views himself as an artist, not a journalist, and feels “beholden to every detail” is unnecessary. He sees his work as perfect, requiring little oversight.
