Bring live radio performances to your convention, conference, or special event. The Final Act Ensemble is an established traveling performance group from The Des Moines Community Playhouse that performs classic and original radio scripts for audiences both young and old in Central Iowa.

Performances typically last 35-50 minutes and include the commercials, sound effects and character voices that dynamically recreate radio days.

Audiences from The Pioneer Stage at the Iowa State Fair to The Performing Arts Center in Okoboji have thrilled to the organ strains that introduce "The Shadow," laughed at the antics in "Easy Aces" and cheered the bravery of "The Lone Ranger." The Final Act Ensemble travels with its own sound equipment, "On the Air" sign, and musical accompaniment to
transport audiences back to "when times were simpler and our imaginations were our best friends."
